Position description

The ESDM (Electronics System Design & Manufacturing) cluster is for supporting innovators/startups & MSMEs to offset disabilities for reliable infrastructure. And it is part of Infinity Studio of Deshpande Startups. "A Platform to Ideate, Design, and Build Your Prototype/Product," a workspace for practical exposure to technology, experimentation, fabrication, and prototyping. This Space is intended to support product startups, foster innovative and efficient engineering projects, and nurture a community of makers within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Infinity Studio supports all the startups, budding entrepreneurs & Students to build their prototypes by supporting them in Ideating, designing & building the Prototype.

A Senior sales executive is responsible for helping build up a business by identifying new business prospects & maintaining cordial relations with existing/mew customers.

Education and experience

  • MBA/BE (Marketing/Preferably Electronics Engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing or related fields (Preferably in Electronics/Products/Technology)

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Electronics & Technology Domain.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment.
  • Openness to learn and adapt to the ecosystem.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Setting goals and developing plans/strategies for business and revenue growth.
  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching prospective accounts in target markets.
  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • Attending conferences and industry events.
  • Generating a new customer base for our scope of operation.
  • Work closely with product management & engineering in understanding product features set, and developing technical product library, including best practices and design guidelines.
  • Represent the customer’s technical needs during new service developments and create competitive analysis from a technical perspective.
  • Maintain cordial relations with existing customers and generate new orders from them
  • Providing pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Perform such other duties as required and appropriate to the objectives of this position and the needs of the organization.
